Banff Medicine Walk Schedule

9:45 am – 10:00 am

A brief group introduction will take place as is customary. Guide will follow cultural protocol and lay tobacco. At this time we ask guests to respect our traditions and please not take photographs at this time.

10:15 am – 12:00 pm

Medicine Walk – We walk through and around Cascade Ponds.

We will spend the last 5 minutes discussing options for making medicine and introduce our workshops (ask your guide for a discount card!)

What to Bring
& What to Expect

  • Bring a hat, wind/water shell, comfortable shoes or boots, sunglasses, water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a camera.
  • We go rain or shine!
  • In warmer weather, extra water and a pack for your belongings is recommended.
  • Guide will follow cultural protocol, lay tobacco at the start, and request no photographs during that moment.
  • Schedule includes arrival, introductions, plant walk with offerings to Mother Earth, and discussion of medicine options and workshops.
